The Simpsons are an American family. 

They live in Springfield in the USA.

Homer Simpson is the father. He is 35 years old. 

He is married to Marge Simpson: he is her husband. 

Homer and Marge have got three children: Bart, Lisa and Maggie.

 Bart is their only son. He is ten years old. 

He is a lazy *(=paresseux)* boy! 

Lisa, their daughter, is the second child of the family. She is 8 years old. 

She is a very intelligent girl and she is a vegetarian. 

Bart and Lisa’s sister is called Maggie. She is one year old.   

The Simpsons have got two pets: a dog and a cat. 

The dog’s name is Santa’s little Helper and the cat’s name is Snowball 2.
