The Weeknd is a Canadian singer and songwriter of Ethipian origins.

His real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye. He was born in February 1990.

He started his career in 2010 when he uploaded several songs to YouTube under the name "The Weeknd" .

His 4th album After Hours was released in 2020.

The Weeknd has won three Grammy Awards, two American Music Awards, and many others.

He is now one of the most successful Canadian singers.
