Pumpkin pie

 

 

This is the Pumpkin Pie recipe!

For us, it's strange to bake a cake with pumpkin but I can assure you, it's simply delicious!!

It's the traditional desert for Thanksgiving. 

Every family in America has their own recipe that they pass on to the next genertion.

 

INGREDIENTS:

• 3 cups pumpkin puree

• 1 cup sugar

• ½ teaspoon salt

• 1 teaspoon flour

• 1 teaspoon water

• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

• 1 teaspoon ginger

• 4 eggs

• 2 cups (evaporated) milk  (lait concentré non sucré)

• 1 pastry shell (pâte à tarte plutôt sablée que feuilletée)

PREPARATION :

 

Mix pumpkin puree, sugar, salt and flour in a medium bowl.

Add eggs

Mix well

Add milk and water

Pour into pie plate

Put into oven

Bake at 200° for 35 minutes
