Exercise 1: Reported Speech

“Do you want to marry him or not ?” My mother enquired .

“Did you have a nice meal?” She asked me .

“Have you lost anything?” He wondered .

“Will the children be at home for dinner?” My husband wanted to know .

“Shut up!”  He yelled me .

“You should go to the cinema!” . She .

“Don’t park your car here!” The policeman .

Exercise 2: Say or tell? Don’t forget to conjugate!

Exercise 3: Report what they said yesterday with different reporting verbs.                  

Marc : "My neighbours are going on holidays next Tuesday."  

Jim and Jason : "Do you think they can reach this summit." 

Sophie : "Don't take away your clothes Tim."

The girls : " What did you do last Sunday, Arthur ? " 

You : "Do you think we can stay here until tomorrow?"
